Kick-Off Meeting Set for September 24

COA Starts New Program Year with Celebration, Speaker

The Columbus Osteopathic Association is holding its first meeting of the 2008-2009 program year on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant (3965 New Bond Street, Columbus 43219) at Easton Town Center. All members, whether in active practice, semi-retired, or retired are invited, as well as residents, interns, and students affiliated with the Centers for Osteopathic Research & Education (CORE).

The evening begins at 6:00 PM with a reception, followed by dinner and program at 6:30 PM. The agenda includes brief updates from CORE assistant deans about osteopathic medical education in Columbus, a preview of COA plans for the year, a presentation to honor the leadership of Robert S. Seiple, DO, who retired his position as OOA Speaker in June, and Aggressive Strategies in the Treatment of Hypertension with Paul Gutheil, DO.
