Join the Ohio Department of Veterans Services (ODVS) team and work at a historic nursing home originally opened in 1888 to care for veterans of the American Civil War that has been in continuous operation since. The Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky is a 427-bed nursing home facility that offers two levels of care (standard care for those veterans in need of any intermediate level of care and special care for veterans with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia).
We need a physician who is people-friendly and will provide exceptional medical care for our resident veteran population. The required minimum qualifications include having a certificate to practice medicine as issued by State of Ohio Medical Board pursuant to Sections 4731.14 & 4731.281 of the Ohio Revised Code. Compensation is dependent upon experience.
