Executive Committee Names New Legal Counsel

Eric Jones, an Of Counsel member of Madison and Rosan, LLP, has been appointed the Ohio Osteopathic Association's new legal counsel by the OOA Executive Committee.

Jones is a healthcare attorney concentrating on provider representation, healthcare policy, managed care contracting/reimbursement, and regulatory compliance. In addition to serving as the OOA's legal counsel, he provides a full-range of legal services to OOA members at a 20% fee discount.

He has more than 12 years experience in the healthcare field. Prior to entering private practice he served as assistant chief of the Bureau of Managed Health Care for the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services where he was responsible for implementing the statewide expansion of Medicaid managed care in Ohio. He also served as legal assistant to the General Counsel of the Ohio State Medical Association; vice president of Physician Services at an Ohio hospital; and a managed care organization executive.
