ClinicSync Releases E-Prescribing Report

CliniSync (the Ohio Health Information Partnership) has released a new report about the status of e-prescribing in Ohio, along with recommendations for improving accuracy and facilitating e-prescribing of controlled substances.

The Task Force issuing the report includes the Ohio Osteopathic Association and was formed in 2010 to study ways to remove barriers to ePrescribing.  Other representatives include vendors, physicians,  pharmacists, hospital CIOs, pharmacy schools, licensing boards, and patient advocates.
