Applications Now Open for NHSC Scholarships

The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) is accepting applications for its 2014--2015 school year Scholarship Program (SP) for students pursuing primary health care professions training in in return for a commitment to serve in a high-need Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA).

For the first school year, or partial school year, of support, there is a minimum two-year service commitment. The NHSCSP awards are available for up to four years, including tax-free payments covering tuition, required fees, and other reasonable and eligible educational costs. Additionally, scholarship recipients receive a taxable monthly living stipend.
