DESCRIPTION:
The 14th Annual Surgery of the Foregut Symposium will provide surgeons and other health care professionals a wide range of information related to new and well established topics in gastrointestinal surgery. Attendees will become familiar with surgical aspects of conventional, laparoscopic, robotic, and endoscopic surgery of the foregut. In addition, you will acquire in-depth information related to the diagnosis and management of disease processes of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, liver, and biliary tree. The program will review complex case scenarios and complications after foregut procedures. Abdominal wall hernias, fistulas and the use of the vacuum assisted closure (VAC) will be presented.
