Kasich Administration Issues Health Report

The Govenor’s Office of Health Transformation (OHT) has issued a report outlining its health and human services accomplishments for 2011.

 The report claims Medicaid reforms instituted during the last 12 months have improved the quality of care for 2.2 million individuals while saving Ohioans $1.5 billion over the next two years.  The report also highlights the OHT’s efforts to modernize and contain health and human services programs by coordinating activities in six different state departments and engaging private partners to “drive system-wide reform.”
