Suicidality in Ohio: Reversing the Trend in 2020

From 2007-2018 suicide deaths in Ohio increased over 40 percent with the number of deaths reaching approximately 1850 (about 5 people dying each day) in 2018. Suicide is now the leading cause of death for Ohio youth ages 10-14 years as well as the second leading cause of death for Ohioans ages 15-34 years.
