Assistant Clinical Professor, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (Part-time)

Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine

The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-HCOM) is seeking Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) physicians for part-time faculty teaching positions at the Athens, Ohio campus and at the Dublin, Ohio campus. Each of the three positions (two in Athens and one in Dublin) require a minimum of 16 hours per week.

Applicants should possess a strong desire to teach and advise osteopathic medical students within the curriculum and contribute to the success of the Heritage College and its campuses through teaching and service. Candidates must have outstanding leadership, management, and interpersonal skills to relate to a diverse faculty, staff, students and community members.

The successful applicant will have special interest and qualifications in the practice and teaching of osteopathic principles and manipulative medicine.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver curricular and other scholarly activities.

Teach courses assigned to the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM).

Participate in the ongoing programs and program development of the Department of OMM including pre- and postdoctoral training and other scholarly activities as appropriate.

Teach the clinical application of osteopathic principles and manipulative medicine in ambulatory and hospital-based practices.

Graduate of an American Osteopathic Association (AOA)-approved osteopathic college

Satisfactory completion of an AOA-approved internship and AOA-approved residency program

Board eligible for or Board certified by the AOA

Ohio Licensure or credentials allowing same

DEA Licensure
